Career & College Readiness

The Office of Career and College Readiness (CCR) is responsible for the successful transition of students into postsecondary life.  We connect students to opportunities during their K-12 experience that will help them select the right training and education needed for their career aspirations.  A Career Ready and College Ready student is:

  • Prepared to succeed in credit bearing courses at two or four year colleges, without remediation
  • Prepared to succeed in workforce training programs that lead to competitive, livable salaries with opportunities for career advancement
  • Equipped to solve 21st century challenges, through work-based learning opportunities

We focus on four (4) areas:

1. College Connections

2. Career Conections

3. Work Based Learning

4. Career Guidance
